Our Monthly Parent Newsletter - February

Please remind your children to wear appropriate clothing for outside play. When the weather is cold, all students should wear a coat, boots, hat and gloves or mittens. Snow pants are also required if children plan to slide or play in the snow during noon recess. Students will go outside for recess whenever the temp/wind chill is 0 degrees or warmer.

Kindergarten Registration Information for 2012-2013

Albertville Primary School would like to welcome parents to Kindergarten Registration for the 2012 - 2013 school year on February 9, 2012, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Kindergarten Registration is designed especially for parents only. This evening's purpose is to register next year's kindergartners students and answer questions regarding curriculum, Express (full day) and 1/2 day programs, and Kid's Play. Parents will have the option of taking a tour. Registration info and details for kindergarten open house and kindergarten orientation will be mailed to families with potential kindergartners during the week of January 30. Because of the importance of student safety, the STMA District requires all volunteers and chaperones to complete a background check. A $15 fee is required to cover the expense. Only one background check is required for the entire time that your child is enrolled in ISD 885. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 497-2688.
