Kindergarten Registration for School Year 2026-2027

Welcome Class of 2039!

Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin February 2, 2026. Registration information and ParentVue account set-up information will be mailed to the families of potential kindergarteners at the end of January. If you don’t receive registration information in your mailbox by the end of the first week of February, please contact Danaqa Herman at Albertville Primary 763-497-2688 ext. 1001 or send an email to:  register4kdgn@mystma.org.  

Requirements to enter kindergarten:
● Your child must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2026.
● Your child must have completed Early Childhood Screening. 
● Immunizations must be up-to-date for kindergarten entrance.

Registration for kindergarten is to be completed online via ParentVue:
● Refer to the ParentVue letter that was mailed to access or set up your ParentVue account.
● Login to your account using a browser and click on “New Student Enrollment” to begin.
● Refer to the reverse side of the letter for step-by-step instructions.

Documents required to upload as part of online registration:
● Proof of Residency Document (current driver’s license, utility bill, lease or purchase agreement, letter from gov’t agency)
● Proof of age (birth certificate, passport/visa, official gov’t document indicating full legal name)
● Student Immunization records, in the mailing that was sent to your residence.  
● Court /Custody Documents, if applicable
● IEP copy, if applicable

KINDERGARTEN 2026 - 2027 TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Open Enrollment

Families living outside of the STMA school district will need to apply for open enrollment. More information can be found on the district website here. The open enrollment process is a separate process from kindergarten registration – both processes need to be completed.
